Internships

Last month I finally managed to get a payed internship at Bluw, a London based novelty toy company. So far my time at bluw has been great! I've leant so much and got to work on some great brands such as Doctor Who ( a personal favourite), The Muppets, Hello Kitty, Air heads and Eggbods. Hopefully by the end of this internship I will have some good work to add to my portfolio.

Third skull design in progress

Created the line art for the third skull design tonight and I aimed for a celtic inspired pattern this time. My only problem is deciding on the colour scheme as the previous mono tones wont work as well with this pattern.

Also I have ordered my screen printing gear so hopefully it will arrive some time this week, so I can start experimenting with a few prints of my previous designs :)

By the power of the swirly grey skull!

Scanned in the skull design, darkened the line art in photoshop and filled in the grey to eliminate the pencil lines and get a solid finish to the image. I plan on creating another skull design some time in the near future and as mentioned in a previous post I hope to create a limited series of screen printed posters for promotion.

Skull Design

Felt the need to be more hands on with my work, so I drew out another skull design. I might consider making another so that I can screen print three different versions as posters to give away in the future as promotion for my portfolio.

Web Design

Managed to play around with a few designs for my website that use the new logo and brand colours. I am currently debating on which of these two designs I should go with, but at the moment I am leaning more towards the second design.
